Appreciating Dinner For What It Is

I am writing this quick post after unintentionally going AWOL for a few weeks. We recently made it to a warm climate for three weeks of sun, sand and fun. It was fantastic. Although I planned for a few posts during my absence, I thought I would spend a little more time actually writing while away. And well…that didn’t happen!

We’ve been back for a week and are slowly making our way back into our old routines. Having recently published this post, I thought it necessary to chime in with another post keeping things somewhat more real.

Sometimes, dinner comes from an elaborately planned menu or meal plan. Which is fine. And other times, dinner for all is a quickly thrown together grilled cheese and smoothie. That is okay too! It would be fantastic if more often as moms we could stop worrying about doing things perfectly and just be happy that they get done.
